Blog Announcement
Well kids their is an old saying that "old dogs can't learn new tricks." Well I am an old dog and I learned a new trick - blogging! I am a blogger. I created this blog to help you with my class. It is going to contain links to valuable websites, a calender for scheduling in our class, website connections to YouTube, and many other good things. However, the most important access for you and your success of this class is the BOX. In that box you will find every resource, project, lecture power point, or assignment that I will give you for all of the units we will cover.
You have to be patient, Rome was not built in a day, building construction is done one room at a time and the blog construction is under way. Since World War I is our next unit, it is the only box file that contains all the information for the unit.
SEE THE BOX PAGE UNDER PAGES FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON NAVIGATING TO INFORMATION IN THE BOX.
United States History: 1776 to 1930
This class will focus on the exciting, sometimes confusing and many times controversial history of the United States. Our trip through time will take us from 13 colonies struggling for independence, to a United 20th century global power. Along the way we will look at the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY of building a nation. We begin in Philadelphia and end on Wall Street. Stops along the way will include the westward movement, the Civil War, Industrialization, world power through imperialism, World War I, and ending in the Roaring Twenties.
Buckle Up and Prepare to Takeoff!
